Hat - Sportsgirl, Knit - Target, Top (worn underneath) - Jay Jays, Boyfriend jeans - Cotton On, Shoes - Rubi Shoes, Socks - Cotton On

A few weekends ago i went out for a walk and came across this bright blue wall, so what did i do? Stopped and took photos of course! If you've seen my July Favourites blog post then you would recognise quite a few of these items, to go and check out that blog post, click here.
Because i've been loving all of these items of much recently i decided to put them all together for an outfit, and it turned out pretty nicely!

I'm heading off for school camp next week and i'm so super pumped for all the flying foxes, obstacle courses, drop slides and survival days that we've got in store! Hopefully it won't be toooo cold when we get there, just in case i'll make sure to pack a jacket, a hoodie, a thick knit, a long sleeved tee and a Marvel top just to keep warm.

Hope you've all had a wonderful week,

Hello! Whoops, it's been a while since i last posted.

Anyway, i've been a bit ill for the last couple of days, coughing and sneezing, laying in bed all day is not very fun, but thankfully a fun day out with my favourite two little fruit cups, Tia and Molly, was exactly what the doctor ordered.
We hopped on the train down to Ormond station and headed off in search for this cute cafe called Mr. Brightside (yes, like the song that those two wouldn't stop singing on the way there, hehe) On our way we found (probably) the coolest playground, and being us, of course we had to go on the swings and the bouncy grasshoppers and that weird spider web thing that so many playgrounds have, i don't really get what it is.
And then we found the cafe, and really needed a drink now!
Trust me when i say this, but this is one of the cutest cafes i think i've ever been to! The food there was so so tasty and the decor inside was to die for!
Molly settled on a bowl of chips and an iced coffee, and Tia and i somehow passed as under 12 year olds and were allowed to order off the kids menu so we got a mini burger, a fruit cup and a mixed berry smoothie.

It was a super fun day so i thought i'd share some photos with you al and turn it into a little blog post.

Hey gals,

So instead of doing a video for last months favourites, i decided to change things up a bit and turn it into a blog post (only) instead. I grabbed around 10 of my favourite items from last month, including things from clothes, to dvds!
Enjoy, and make sure to check out my YouTube channel to watch my previous favourites videos, click here to go and check it out!
Ok so the first thing i've been loving in the month of July is this pair of boyfriend jeans i bought from Cotton On. These jeans would usually just sit there in my cupboard collecting dust because i never really knew how to style them, or if i could really pull off baggy jeans. But throw on a cropped tee, a thick knit or a loose cardi and you're ready to go!

The second thing i've been loving is this pair of white platform sneakers that i also bought from Cotton On (haha that's another thing i've been loving, Cotton On!) As you can probably tell by all the scuff marks and stains on these shoes i have been wearing them to death! I had a similar pair of these in black, but wore them so much i got a hole in the bottom, so this has been my replacement pair, and i'm loving them!

The next thing is patterned socks. I bought the socks pictured above from Factorie, Target and Cotton On, but you can pretty much get these adorable socks from anywhere, and wear them with anything! Pairing types of socks like these with ankle boots and low cut sneakers is the perfect winter combination!

Now, in the last few monthly favourites i've made i always seem to include a shade of lipstick or a brand of lip balm that i'd been wearing a lot, and so to continue with this theme, this month i've been loving a new lipstick that i got from Sephora, in the shade Crush (23). It's my first Sephora lipstick and i love the colour so so much!

Another thing i have been using a lot is this tote bag from Country Road. I go this bag for my birthday back in March, but haven't used it too much up until now. It's the perfect size for everything you need for a day out and the colour palette is beautiful and simple which makes it easy to pair with just about anything!

Ok i think i'm a bit obsessed with candles at the moment. I always have one burning in my bedroom, and whenever you come near my room you can smell the amazing scents of candles like the ones above; Glasshouse Fragrances Esperance mimosa and wild apple, and this gorgeous pomegranate and sage scented candle from an online boutique.

Something a little bit different this time, some dvds that i can't get enough of recently, including Ironman, Ironman 2, Avengers, and Pokemon Indigo League. I mean, who doesn't love some good old Marvel movies and a bit of Pokemon?!

And finally the last thing i've been loving in the month of July is this book by Patrick Ness, called The Knife Of Never Letting Go. You've probably heard of this book by now, but it was suggested to me by my friend Molly, and once i started reading it, i couldn't put it down! Here's a quick description of the book from Goodreads; 'Prentisstown isn't like other towns. Everyone can hear everyone else's thoughts in an overwhelming, never-ending stream of Noise. Just a month away from the birthday that will make him a man, Todd and his dog, Manchee -- whose thoughts Todd can hear too, whether he wants to or not -- stumble upon an area of complete silence. They find that in a town where privacy is impossible, something terrible has been hidden -- a secret so awful that Todd and Manchee must run for their lives.'

Recently i have been love love loving smock dresses!
One of my favourites is the one i wore in one of my latest blog posts, Jacket on Jacket off click to go and check it out!
I got that dress from H&M, and have worn it to death! I've also got a tribal print dress from Dotti, a blain black one from Target, a navy blue one from Factorie and a beige collar one from
Can you tell i love smock dresses!
Even though this type of dress is mainly just for summer/autunm weather, when the sun is still up and there's only a slight breeze. But in winter just grab out a pair of black tights, a nice warm cardi, maybe a thick simple coloured scarf and a pair of boots and you're ready to go!
I'm planning a couple of OOTD's of how to wear these types of dresses in winter so keep your eyes peeled!

Sorry this post was a but short, i hope you're all loving smock dresses as much as i am!
